“there’s nothing wrong from being bitter, remember, medicines usually tastes bitter, but it makes you feel better.”
Those who are BITTER are STRONGER individuals. Wanna know why? Because strong people know how to control their emotions and bitter people know when to realize that it's ENOUGH and IT'S OVER. Bitterness is not totally a negative thing. It's just a way of showing to others that in life, there is such thing as "I still love you, but I DON'T WANT YOU ANYMORE." :))
“Certain people, in their eagerness to construct a world no external threat can penetrate build exaggeratedly high defense againts the outside world, againts new people, new places, different experiences and leave their own world stripped bare. It is there that bitterness begins irrevocable work.”
― Paulo Coelho, Veronika Decides to Die
“There's nothing deeper than love. In fairy tales, the princesses kiss the frogs, and the frogs become princes. In real life, the princesses kiss princes, and the princes turn into frogs.”
― Paulo Coelho, By the River Piedra I Sat Down and Wept
“Few other griefs amid the ill chances of this world have more bitterness and shame for a man's heart than to behold the love of a lady so fair and brave that cannot be returned.”
― J.R.R. Tolkien, The Return of the King
“Bitterness is like cancer. It eats upon the host. But anger is like fire. It burns it all clean.”
― Maya Angelou
“Was I bitter? Absolutely. Hurt? You bet your sweet ass I was hurt. Who doesn't feel a part of their heart break at rejection. You ask yourself every question you can think of, what, why, how come, and then your sadness turns to anger. That's my favorite part. It drives me, feeds me, and makes one hell of a story.”
